These books BLUE us away!

St. Thomas Public Library’s Readers Advisory Committee decided to continue our colour-based theme for library displays. This month’s theme is “These books BLUE us away!” The display includes books from almost every genre: general fiction, romance, mystery, science fiction & fantasy, and large print. There is no particular motif when it comes to plot – we just think the display looks good. (We like the cooling effect of blue on the hot, muggy summer days.) Library customers seem to agree. We have to restock the Blue display every morning!

Cooling blue for summer...
Was this book “True Blue” or did it “Give you the blues?”

Don’t forget – all library book displays include a feedback bookmark. Was this book “True Blue,” or did it “Give you the blues?” Let us know what you thought about your Blue book, submit the completed review bookmark, and leave it in the draw box on the check-in desk on the main level of St. Thomas Public Library. At the end of every month, we draw one random review. The author of the review wins a library prize pack! Prize packs include a library mug, library notebook & pen, (perhaps another library sundry) and three books which we try to match to the winners review and currently checked-out books.

Absolutely, Cynthia! I’ll email you a PDF copy. If you’d like it in another format, please reply to the email I’ll send you. If you would like a review bookmark from any other display, please let me know.

      Thank you for your interest!
