Reason #6 to celebrate St. Thomas Public Library…

St. Thomas Public Library is proud to announce that as of today, March 3, 2014, we’re loaning 5 Kobo Touch, each with its own unique genre and each loaded with 25 books from that genre. The five genres are General Fiction, Non-fiction, Romance, Science Fiction & Fantasy, and Mystery.

Loan Rules: Much like any other book in our collection, the Kobos are yours for 3 weeks (but with 25 books instead of just one. 25 times the titles, significantly less weight. Sounds good to me!) Late fines are $1.00 per day, just like our Express Reads or a DVD. In each bag, you will find one Kobo Touch eReader, one protective cover for when you’re out and about, one wall charger, one instruction booklet, and a short survey about your Kobo eReader experience.

If can place a hold on any of the genres by visiting the library’s catalogue (this link will take you right to the Kobo page,) or by searching the library’s catalogue for “Kobo.”

If you are visiting the library and the Kobo you’d like to borrow isn’t there, please speak to the staff at the Circulation Desk. They’d be happy to put it on hold for you. They can tell you how many people are on the wait list, and you will receive an email or phone call when your Kobo is ready to be picked up.
