Our New Program Is A Bit Of A STRETCH!

STRETCHING has arrived at the St. Thomas Public Library!

Where: Rotary Lounge on the main levelStretch

When: Daily (Monday to Saturday) at 10:30 a.m.

Everyone is welcome!

People are already feeling the benefits, which include:

  • Calmer mind
  • Reduced tension
  • Increased flexibility
  • Improved range of motion
  • Improved circulation

 

We offer a gentle 5-minute stretch session daily, led by an STPL staff member. Relaxing music sets the tone; deep breathing enhances the experience. Participants do only what is comfortable for them. No pressure. No expectations. No bouncing. No sweating. No straining. The benefits — and the good feeling — come from simply stretching your muscles and opening up your neck, shoulders, arms and chest in a slow gentle way.
